CPS Field Trip: Lord Hill Lookout at Beaver Pond

Join the traditional New Year's Day field trip, this year to Lord Hill Lookout at Beaver Pond near Monroe. Lichens, liverworts, winter twigs and seed pods will probably be available for our study. Optional lunch afterwards at Tijuana Restaurant in Monroe. Meet at Bothell Park and Ride (SR 522 and Kaysner Way) at 9:30. 2018 Botany Washington

June 7-9, 2018

Southwestern Washington is a botanically rich area that includes coastal headlands, extensive stretches of dune community, tidal marshes and flats, and lowland coastal forests that continue upward to the montane areas of the Willapa Hills.  The 2018 Event will take place on the Long Beach Peninsula, with base camp in Ocean Park, WA at the Ocean Park Camp & Retreat Center.
