Description

Please join us at our annual winter potluck to enjoy a feast of food, and share stories about the year. Mark Turner, Natalie McClendon, and Brian Small are hosts. Dinner will begin around 6:30 pm and we will finish off with a slideshow of highlights of the year. Bring a dish and a drink to share (last names A-M bring entrees, and N-Z bring a side or dessert). For those with photos to share, bring along a USB drive with up to 10 digital images.

2018 Botany Washington

June 7-9, 2018

Southwestern Washington is a botanically rich area that includes coastal headlands, extensive stretches of dune community, tidal marshes and flats, and lowland coastal forests that continue upward to the montane areas of the Willapa Hills.  The 2018 Event will take place on the Long Beach Peninsula, with base camp in Ocean Park, WA at the Ocean Park Camp & Retreat Center. The Suksdorfia and South Sound Chapters are preparing an amazing Study Weekend event in the Klickitat County area of Washington, including the Columbia Gorge and the heart of the Cascades Mountains.  25 hikes, 2 Key Note speakers and workshops including how to use the new Plant List Database, and more will be a part of this year’s event.
