Send Those Cards and Letters

Long-time readers of Botanical Rambles know how I feel about snail mail. And December is a great month for sending and receiving actual, real, bona fide cards and letters. As my sister Annie says, "Just say yes to the U.S.P.S."

Luckily for all of us, the Washington Native Plant Society offers stunning holiday cards that share the magic of Pacific Northwest winters. Each set features 7 images donated by photographer Mark Turner.

Note that the images on this page include Mark's colophon, but the cards themselves do not. Inside the cards are blank to so you can include the greeting of your choice.

Did I mention that these cards are a bargain? For $15 plus $2.50 shipping and handling, you receive 21 cards (3 each of 7 images) with envelopes. That is less than 85 cents each!

Not only that. You get bragging rights for having excellent taste, warm feelings from writing to your family and friends, and the satisfaction of supporting the work and programs of the Washington Native Plant Society.
